With the world’s largest coastline, Canada has national parks that touch oceans from coast, to coast, to coast; the Atlantic in Terra Nova, the Pacific in Gwaii Haanas and the Arctic ocean in Quttinirpaaq. Continually changing – shaped by wind, wave, and ice – it’s no wonder every Canadian has their own unique seaside memory.

Canada’s Dark Sky Preserve parks protect nocturnal habitats of wildlife and encourage enjoyment of the night sky. Parks Canada manages a number of these including the world’s largest – Wood Buffalo National Park.

Further north than many of us have ever traveled is a land commonly defined by its vast, white landscape, however vibrant tundra - made up of shrubs, grasses, mosses and lichens - colours the land in Auyuittuq National Park on Baffin Island.

Inspired by the warmth of a setting sun seen from the shores of Point Pelee National Park, as well as the vibrant autumn leaves of Rouge National Urban Park, warm hues and natural materials have a way of comforting us from the inside out.
