LePage® PL® Acousti-Seal has a unique blend of synthetic rubber and polymers to bond polyethylene vapour barrier sheets. It provides an efficient seal to aid in the reduction of airborne sound transmission in wall assembly systems. It should only be used in concealed areas. Since this product does not dry, it is normal for the sealant to accumulate dirt, but this will not affect its functionality. PL Acousti-Seal

• Specially formulated to adhere to most common vapour barrier films to wood, metal and concrete
• Used to reduce sound transmission through sealing or bedding wall assembly systems, and by bedding other items recessed in or passing through walls
• Should be used only in concealed areas
• Meets CAN/CGSB 19-GP-21 M87 Specs
• Reduces transmission of airborne sound
• Forms an effective vapour barrier
• Not affected by cold temperatures
• Non-drying
• Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from foreign materials which could affect adhesion
• Prefit all materials
• Use at temperatures between 5-30 degrees Celsius (40-85 degrees Fahrenheit)
• Since the compound does not dry it is normal for the compound to accumulate dirt but dirt retention will not affect the functional performance of the material
• One 300 mL cartridge covers approximately 24 linear feet using a ¼" bead
• Clean with mineral spirits
• Store away from open flame or spark
• Use under well ventilation conditions
• Avoid breathing vapours and skin contact
• Keep out of reach of children
